Eoin Callanan is the Chief Scout of Scouting Ireland. He was elected unopposed in September 2024 and wants to focus on Volunteering in our Organisation at all levels over his three year term. He has been involved in Scouting at both local and national level for over 30 years as an adult and 10 as a youth member. He wants to harness the energy and positivity of our youth members and is passionate about growing the Scouting Network and championing engagement for all our members.
Alongside his position as Chief Scout, he has a degree in Electronic Engineering and works in the Faculty of Engineering in MTU. He is also an avid walker and lover of live music. He is looking forward to working with as many of our members as possible over the next few years whilst sharing the Scouting Trail.
