The Core, Support and Project Teams in Scouting Ireland are volunteer-based teams at National Level. They work on specific areas or initiatives to help develop and improve Scouting across the country, contributing their skills and expertise to support members and the organisation’s goals.
Jamboree 2028
Preparations are underway for an incredible Jamboree taking place in Ireland in the summer of 2028, and we are looking for volunteers to help bring this event to life. Whether you have professional expertise, experience in Scouting events, or simply a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for young people, there is a place for you on the team, as we are currently inviting expressions of interest across a range of areas. If you’re interested in getting involved and helping to deliver Jamboree 2028, we would love to hear from you!
Pride Events Coordinator
This role coordinates Scouting Ireland’s participation in Pride events across the island of Ireland, ensuring values-led, inclusive, and safe engagement. Pride Coordinator works closely with the EDI Team, Programme staff and Safeguarding. The role is open to adult members of Scouting Ireland who are passionate about inclusion and positive representation. The appointment is for a three-year term, with a flexible time commitment that increases around Pride events.
