Congratulations are in order for Dermot Moore, who was nominated by the outgoing Cill Mhantain Scout County Team for a Volunteer Ireland Award. Dermot was nominated for his volunteer efforts as County Commissioner and a community first responder. He was also shortlisted to 3 finalist nationally in the Children and Youth category.
As a result of that Dermot was invited to attend the National Volunteer Ireland awards ceremony in Limerick on Saturday night.
Well done to all winners and so many deserving volunteers and charitable organisations from around the country.
