Killaloe Scout Centre is one of the National Scout Centre's of Scouting Ireland. It is Ideally situated on the shores of Lough Derg, we are only 3km from the famous heritage town of Killaloe and a 20-minute drive from Limerick City.
The site is bounded on one side by an extensive forest with panoramic views of counties Clare and Tipperary. On the other side we have Lough Derg which is one of Ireland's most picturesque lakes.
Killaloe Hostel, which is situated with a spectacular view of the lake, sleeps 36 people. Four rooms have sleeping capacity of 8 people and 1 room has sleeping capacity of 4 people. The hostel also has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, toilet and shower facilities and changing rooms. There are no camping facilities at the centre.
All self-led activities are free and included in your fee.
