Congratulations are in order for Dan Clohessy who won the Breakthrough Achievement Award at the Outsider Awards. The Awards were held at the Sugar Club in Dublin on the 2nd of February 2023.
Dan, who is 16-years-old, performed exceptionally at the Freestyle Kayaking World Championships this year. He also plays an influential role at Malahide Sea Scouts, helping his peers to develop skills on the water as Deputy Boatmaster.
This Irish athlete is one to watch as he continues to compete at a high level in freestyle kayaking, while also finding the time to mentor and support at Malahide Sea Scouts.
