On behalf of the Training Section, Volunteer Group and Support Department, we hope you are enjoying and benefiting from the On My Honour Course. We wanted to reach out with an important update regarding your course completion.
As our training staff are currently updating training records manually, the process is taking a bit longer than usual due to the high volume of completions. To ensure you can continue your professional development and Safeguarding Compliance without delay, we want to remind you that your certificate of completion is available for download directly from Moodle once you have successfully finished the course.
Here’s how to download your certificate:
Step 1: Log in to Moodle
- Open your web browser and go to the www.scouttraining.ie login page.
- Enter your username and password, then click I am not a robot and follow the Captcha instructions.
- Then click "Log in.”

Step 2: Navigate to Your Course
- Once logged in, click on the course title “On My Honour” in your dashboard.

Step 3: Find the “Course Completion” Section
- Scroll to the bottom of the course page and locate the Course Completion section.
- You may see a message confirming your completion and a link to download your certificate.

Step 4: Download Your Certificate
- Click on the Download Certificate link.
- Your certificate will open as a PDF or download to your device.

Step 5: Use Your Certificate
- Keep the downloaded certificate as proof of completion.
The expiry date for the training will be based on this certificate
Why is this important?
- Your downloaded certificate will serve as official proof of course completion.
- The expiry date of your training will be calculated based on this certificate.
We understand that manual updates can take time, and we are working diligently to update all records as quickly as possible. In the mean time, the downloaded certificate will be fully recognised and can be used for any necessary verification or future training.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards,
The Training Section
