Scouting Ireland is deeply saddened by the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis shared a deep and genuine care for young people, often encouraging Scouts to be "builders of a better world" and to live lives of service, courage, and hope. His messages reminded us of the power of youth to shape a more just and compassionate society.
We give thanks for his inspiring leadership and keep him, and all who mourn his loss, in our thoughts and prayers.
