The European commission has decided to make 2022 the European Year of Youth and increase the involvement of young people in making Europe greener, more inclusive, and digital. The Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme have joined this effort to:
· increase young people’s involvement in Interreg NPA programme and projects,
· raise awareness about Interreg NPA funding available for the youth organizations in the NPA area,
· establish a youth network across the NPA regions.
Rover Scout Groups from the following counties have also been invited by the NPA to take part in a social media campaign: Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon, Galway and Galway City, Clare, Tipperary, Limerick City and County, Kerry, Cork and Cork City. The objective is to do a social media take-over showcasing the life of young people from Scouting Ireland. Young People from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland will also take part in this initiative.
The campaign begins October 4th 2022.
