John’s career spans more than 30 years in IT, Telecommunications and Media. He is a qualified Non-Exec director (IoD Dip) and has held senior roles at board, CXO and Director level in mobile and fixed operators, large corporates, start-ups and technology research hubs around the world. John started in scouting as a cub scout in the 80’s, returning to become a cub scout leader with 10th Kilternan in 2014. John is one of the founding members of Radio scouting Ireland, a support organisation set up to help scout and guide groups dive into the exciting world of Radio and STEM, turning curiosity into real-world life skills. John is passionate about scouting and diversity, and has a real interest in promoting unity and harmony.
