Richard has been a member of 55th Cork Carrigaline since the age of 11 and is currently active as a Venture Programme Scouter. Alongside his group scouting Richard became involved nationally on the Scout Programme Team where he supported national events for the Scout section and most recently has been the Team Lead for the Crean Challenge from 2018 - 2021. Aside from the numerous Group Camps Richard has been on, one of his greatest Scouting experiences is being a troop scouter for the WSJ in America.
Richard has worked in the financial industry since 2018 and currently works with pensions and life cover for the public sector.
